About me

I’m Radu Fulgheci, architect, mentor, and educational content creator with over a decade of experience in professional practice. I’ve worked with leading studios in Ireland, the UK, and Romania, where my projects have ranged from residential and hospitality to healthcare, workplace, education, and infrastructure. This breadth of work has allowed me to develop a strong command of design at every scale, from the detail of a single home to the coordination of large-scale masterplans. Along the way, my work has been recognised for its design quality and innovation, including a nomination for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal.

Within practice, I’ve built a reputation as the go-to person for complex modelling, strategic problem-solving, and optimising workflows. My role often extends beyond project work, as I've taken part in hiring and onboarding, provide mentorship to new graduates and early-career architects, and offer trusted guidance to colleagues across all levels of experience. I believe the real strength of a studio comes from raising the collective skillset, ensuring every team member has the tools and confidence to deliver their best work.

Outside of practice, I’ve channelled that same focus into education. Since 2019, I’ve been creating online learning resources for architects and students around the world, covering everything from BIM fundamentals and parametric design to digital workflows and presentation skills. My teaching is grounded in real studio experience, designed to bridge the gap between academic study and the demands of professional practice. In addition to my own courses, I collaborate with the RIBA Future Architects programme, helping students and graduates navigate their first steps into the profession with confidence.

At the core of everything I do, my goal is to make architecture more accessible, efficient, and rewarding to practice. Whether through mentoring, training, or digital learning tools, I focus on helping architects sharpen their process, build confidence in their skills, and create work that communicates clearly and persuasively.
